Lindsey Halwes was selected as the 2023 PCMS Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Halwes is a graduate and valedictorian of Speedway High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University in Secondary Education, and she has been a teacher at PCMS since 2016. This award is a testament to her unwavering commitment to excellence in education. Lindsey's passion for teaching has clearly made a lasting impact on her students, and her dedication to students’ growth and development is inspiring. She has spent countless hours outside of the classroom providing experiences for students that will last a life-time, which include sponsoring Crafts and Chats, Needle and Hook club, cross country coach, FCA leader, and sponsor of the Washington D.C. and Cedar Point trips. Mrs. Halwes has inspired countless students to pursue their dreams and achieve their goals. She is an amazing teacher, and we are grateful for the positive impact she has made on so many lives.
