Just a reminder that the Guilford Fright-K is coming up on October 28th. There is still time to sign up for this fun run. There will also be a costume contest, snacks, games and more. We hope to see you there.

It's Battle of the Books time! Each of our elementary schools will compete against one another today to see who is the district Battle of the Books Champion!

Dress up this week for Red Ribbon Week. Dress up days start tomorrow, October 24th.
Guilford 4th and 5th graders are up bright and early today to learn more about Math Bowl. We are excited to see so many students eager to join our team.
Every student and staff member received ice cream today in honor of our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Schwanekamp. Thank you to Blue Bell Ice Cream for being a part of this special recognition. It was a great way to end our Monday.
Trash bag orders can be picked up on Wednesday, October 5th between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Take the car rider lane and stop in front of the school. You don't even need to get out of your car. A PTO volunteer will bring the trash bags to you.

We will never forget. Guilford students participated in their annual silent dismissal to honor all of the lives that were lost on 9/11/2001. They also took time to thank our Plainfield first responders with letters, poems, and songs. We are so lucky to live in a community with so many helpers.
